The DUT in Multimedia and Internet Professions allowed me to develop a broad range of skills in web development, graphic design, communication, and marketing, with a specialization in web integration.

Understanding the DUT in Multimedia and Internet Professions

The DUT in Multimedia and Internet Professions at Le Puy-en-Velay is a comprehensive and versatile program that prepares students for careers in digital professions through a mix of theory, practice, and real projects.

This program provided me with an initial immersion in the web field and gave me the essential foundations to evolve towards the role of a web integrator, combining creativity, technical skills, and understanding of current digital challenges.

The DUT MMI stands out for its curriculum, which covers front-end development as well as digital communication, design, and marketing.

A comprehensive learning experience focused on web and digital creation

Over the semesters, I learned and worked with numerous technologies. Strong emphasis was placed on web integration, mastering essential languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. I also had the opportunity to work on WordPress, which allowed me to understand the logic of CMS platforms and the functioning of custom themes. These technical skills formed the foundation for my evolution towards more ambitious projects, which I now showcase on my portfolio page.

The program also included a strong visual dimension, thanks to courses in graphic design and visual communication. I learned to create ergonomic mockups, maintain visual consistency, and design user-oriented interfaces. These skills are essential in my current approach to web integration, where the final output must faithfully reflect the established graphic intentions.

The DUT MMI also raised awareness of legal issues related to digital technology and the web. Concepts such as digital law, copyright, privacy, and data management helped me better understand the technical responsibilities involved in creating websites. This aspect has become crucial in my work, particularly when ensuring web projects comply with legal requirements or integrating functionalities that meet regulatory obligations.

In addition, the program provided a solid introduction to communication and digital marketing strategies. Understanding how a website fits within a brand ecosystem allowed me to adopt a more precise vision of projects. This comprehensive approach now enables me to integrate websites that are not only technically efficient but also designed to meet visibility, engagement, and user experience goals.

A foundational program in my web integrator journey

It was during this DUT that I truly specialized in web integration. The numerous practical projects allowed me to become quickly operational and develop a rigorous working method, such as the AVA Journey project. This specialization gained full importance when I applied it in real conditions during my web integrator internship in Montreal, Canada, at the Parkour3 agency.

This international experience was a major turning point in my career: it allowed me to put into practice everything I had learned, deepen my front-end skills, and discover a new approach to digital work. The DUT MMI laid the foundations, and this internship enabled me to transform them into solid professional skills, which I continued to develop in my subsequent projects and experiences.
