This site has no connection to the Subway brand. It was an educational exercise conducted during my courses at Digital Campus Lyon, aimed at fully designing the site mockups and then integrating them using PHP and JavaScript. We had to imagine a complete redesign of an existing site while proposing a more modern, coherent, and visually impactful approach.
With my group, we chose to revisit the graphic universe of the Subway site, which we felt lacked creativity and dynamism. This fictitious redesign allowed us to rethink the site structure, improve its interactions, and provide a more immersive and engaging experience for the user. The goal was to create a clear, fluid, and accessible interface while highlighting the playful and colorful aspect inherent to the brand’s identity.
A project combining design, integration, and dynamic logic
PHP was used to structure the files, organize the different sections of the site, and make the overall structure more dynamic through simple and effective templating. JavaScript was employed to animate certain elements, handle key interactions, and test cookie functionality—an essential aspect in managing user preferences or conditional displays.
This Subway redesign project was an excellent opportunity to strengthen my skills in web integration, front-end development, and collaborative work around a shared concept. It fully fits into my web integration journey, demonstrating my ability to design a complete, modern, and technically structured website from a creative idea.
